Established in 1917, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary was the first theological institution to be created by direct action of the Southern Baptist Convention. Now with sixteen extension centers across the Southeast, NOBTS is one of the largest seminaries in the world. 

For more than 85 years evangelism, missions, and, most importantly, local church ministry, have always been at the heart of the educational process for this school. Graduates of NOBTS serve in over 75 countries around the world.
