SACSCOC Accreditation History

New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, master, and doctorate degrees. NOBTS was first accredited by SACSCOC in 1965 and was most recently reaffirmed in 2006. The next reaffirmation is scheduled for 2016.

ATS/COA

New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools. NOBTS was first accredited by ATS/COA in 1954 and was mostly recently reaffirmed in 2006. In addition to the degree programs listed below, NOBTS is accredited to offer degree programs at a number of extension centers. A complete list of the centers can be found on pgs. 4-5 of the Gradate Catalog. The next comprehensive visit is for 2016.

NASM

The New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music. NOBTS was first accredited by NASM in 1966 and was most recently reaffirmed in 2013. The next year in which a NASM evaluation is scheduled is 2022.
