What
is unrestricted giving?
An unrestricted
gift is simply a gift to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary
with no restrictions from the donor on how it is to be used --
although it can be directed to a particular area and still be
considered unrestricted. Your annual gift to NOBTS is a
good example of an unrestricted gift. Unrestricted gifts
support NOBTS by allowing the seminary flexibility in planning
how best to use the funds.
Why
is it important?
New Orleans
Baptist Theological Seminary was established in 1917 to be both
a theological seminary and a beacon of hope to the City of New
Orleans. Since its founding, more than 15,000 graduates
have spread out to minister in the local neighborhoods and in
more than 70 countries around the world.
Unrestricted
giving is a chance for you to participate in the training of men
and women to carry the message of Christ around the world.
Your gift will address priorities and bring immediate benefits
to the seminary as a whole by supporting...
| 4 |
faculty
and curriculum development |
| 4 |
academic
programs in every degree program |
| 4 |
student
financial aid |
| 4 |
facility
renovations |
Your unrestricted
gift directly supports NOBTS's mission and provides the means
for the Seminary to take advantage of unexpected opportunities
and meet necessary challenges in an efficient and timely manner.
