"Equipping leaders to fulfill the Great Commission and the Great Commandments through the local church and its ministries."

New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary graduates serve in over 75 countries around the world. Our mission of equipping leaders has a global impact. Christian friends of the Seminary who give to support this vital work enable us to continue this mission.

Our world is growing more complex. The need for God-called trained men and women is increasing. The fields are right for harvest and exciting new ministry opportunities open each day around the world. Unfortunately, opportunities to share the Gospel also close in many areas of the world. It will take God-called, trained and dedicated Christians carry this message to all humanity.

Why train and prepare at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary?

T
he City of New Orleans is an excellent environment for both learning and doing ministry.  Today's ministry is global with technology shrinking the world to one of common interests rather than proximity.  New Orleans is a unique urban environment enabling our students to work and minister in a variety of ministry and secular environments. New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary is committed to training students for effective ministry through this living laboratory called New Orleans.
